There's a difference between reviewing a movie and having your opinion about it. Sadly people are too opinionated in this fast forward age. And even when you are knowledgeable there is a difference of that with being an over smart a**
Jagga Jasoos is a old wine in a new bottle. It's a concept that is blended with broadway to musicals to grandfathers telling you stories. Every movie doesn't have to be about action, thriller or romance. Hence, this is a new version of the old but smart bong culture.
This is a " I like what I see and see what I like kind of a movie". This movie isn't about a 100 cr club house. This is not for the local arenas, it is for a niche audience. If you are looking at a different but clean movie this is worth a watch!
Director - Anurag Basu knows what he wants. He focuses on his strengths and doesn't fail to encash upon his bong connections. The story grows on if you give it a chance. There is always room for corrections but this is his take. And the story is kinda sweet.
Cast - Ranbir Kapoor - He looks good and has his cute pout faced moments. His hairdo will rule will the kids. His acting is clean and his efforts make a difference to uplifting the downswing of the bad photoshopping. RK needs to keep his acting shoes on for a while to make a mark that somewhere seems faded.
Katrina Kaif - Never forget that she isn't an actress but a heroine. If you understand that difference you exactly know what I mean. She does what a beautiful face is suppose to do and has cleaned up herself after all the wrongs she has done in the last of her films.
The supporting cast does a pretty okay job, but this isn't a Barfi so just a watch in and out.
Final verdict " Don't raise your expectations just uplift your classifications".
